Infotonics Puts Focus on Firms Ready to Grow

ITC is helping a local startup with manufacturing processes for a product aimed at tapping into a $200 million-plus market and adding hundreds of jobs to the region.

For the past several months, Infotonics has been working with SiMPore Inc. of Henrietta on manufacturing a prototype with plans to take it to production.

SiMPore is one of the first local startups working with Infotonics on manufacturing efforts and is an example of a model that Infotonics CEO Paul Tolley would like to see continue in use at the Canandaigua center.
