Kodak Signs Pact with ITC

Rochester, NY, August 20, 2007

Eastman Kodak Co. has signed a research agreement with the Infotonics Technology Center (ITC) in Ontario County for such matters as licensing and intellectual property for joint projects between the two.

Kodak has a number of similar agreements in place with universities. The company said such arrangements speed up the commercialization of technological discoveries.

The agreement was announced this morning.

ITC is a nonprofit corporation that runs the state's Center of Excellence in Photonics and Microelectromechanical systems and is a consortium that involves colleges around the state, as well as such corporations as Kodak, Xerox, and Corning.
