ITC Summer Science Camp 2010

Canandaigua, NY, February 10, 2010

ITC’s summer science camp is now accepting registrations online at www.summersciencecamp.org.  Now in it’s 8th year, summer science camp has provided multiple week-long day camp activities to over 1000 students throughout the Finger Lakes Region.  This year’s camps will be held at Nazareth College, Genesee Community College, and at Infotonics. 

 ITC summer science camp utilizes popular themes – including Harry Potter and C.S.I. – to capture the interest of students in a curriculum built around science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).  New for this year is a camp focused around alternative energy, and a Harry Potter camp that incorporates the best of the previous three Harry Potter camp experiences. Again for 2010, we are pleased to partner with the Rochester City School District who will provide funding for up to 150 students to attend summer camp at no charge.  The district will also provide transportation for all City students to attend camp.
